Thank you for coming on safari with us!

Thank you for choosing Gamewatchers Safaris to help in arranging your recent trip. We do hope that you enjoyed your time on safari and that you have retained many wonderful memories as well as photos and videos that you can share with friends and family (and with us!).

Your Visit Directly Supported Wildlife Conservation
As you may know, our mission during the last 20 years has been to expand the area of protected habitat for wildlife beyond the official parks and reserves by working in partnership with the local communities who own the adjacent land. We have been leasing tracts of land from the communities to set this acreage aside as wildlife conservancies where the wild animals can continue to live in their natural environment and to increase in number.

The costs of leasing the land and paying for the conservancies’ management expenses (wardens, rangers, waterholes for wildlife etc) is borne entirely by us and is an extra overhead of more than US$1 million a year which is a huge amount for a safari company such as ours to fund every year on top of all our normal operating overheads. It is the income from our low-impact ecotourism chosen by visitors such as yourselves that pays for the leasing of this land, and this directly supports the conservation of wildlife.

We do not claim that our eco-camps are luxurious but we aim to provide acceptable levels of comfort and to give a more exclusive and intimate safari experience for our guests than the big tourist lodges. By staying at our camps our guests are helping to pay for the conservancies to continue.

Please Help To Support The Conservancies By Leaving A Review on TripAdvisor

If you would like to help us to continue our conservation efforts and secure the future of the Conservancies for wildlife, then please help us to encourage more visitors to come out on safari and to stay at our camps. We have found that one of the most effective ways for our guests to support us is by rating their experience at our camps on TripAdvisor. Many potential visitors rely on TripAdvisor reviews when choosing where to stay and we find that being highly ranked on TripAdvisor has a significant influence on encouraging new bookings.  It is the percentage of Excellent reviews received by a property on TripAdvisor that determines its ranking.

We do hope that you will consider your own experience with us to have been Excellent and, if so, we would be most grateful if you could post your own review on TripAdvisor (if you have not already done so) using the links below. If you have already posted a review then thank you for your support – we appreciate this very much!

However if for any reason you do not consider your stay with us to have been Excellent then please contact our Founder, Jake Grieves-Cook, by email (jake@porini.com) so that we can take immediate steps to make whatever improvement is necessary as we consider our customers’ satisfaction to be our highest priority. Any suggestions which you feel will help us to improve our service to our guests will be given our careful attention.

WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT ADD PICTURES TO YOUR REVIEW AS TRIPADVISOR FREQUENTLY REMOVE ENTIRE REVIEWS WHICH CONTAIN PICTURES OF PEOPLE OR SCENES OF WILDLIFE KILLS
