Porini Bush Camp & Porini Cheetah Camp

For your stay in the Masai Mara you have a choice between two Porini Camps.

The small and intimate Porini Bush Camp and Porini Cheetah Camp are tented safari camps located within the award-winning Ol Kinyei Conservancy, offering an authentic high quality, low tourism density safari experience working on the model that we pioneered of 700 acres of wilderness for every tent.

This exclusive game-rich 18700 acre wildlife conservancy has a diverse terrain of plains, forests and rivers, and is home to a broad range of species including the big cats. Guests will also have access to the Mara Reserve and the adjacent 50000 acre Naboisho conservancy.

The Porini camps offer a personal and authentic experience for a safari in the Maasai Mara, providing a great alternative to the large mass-market tourist lodges.

Nimali Mara Camp

Set in the more remote area of Kogatende, in the northern sector of the Serengeti National Park, Nimali Mara Camp is a small, intimate safari camp with only 10 tents. Located about 30 minutes from the Mara River in a small kopje, the camp fits naturally into its surroundings amongst the trees and boulders with an infinity pool set within a natural cave.

The Camp has been strategically located away from the hustle and bustle of safari vehicles whilst retaining easy access to the river and views of the amazing wildebeest migration crossings.
