DAY BY DAY
Tour Experiences
Day 1
Pick up from Nairobi International Airport and transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp. Check-in and relax in your tent before lunch and later take a 4×4 game drive in Nairobi National Park. Return for dinner and overnight at Nairobi Tented Camp.
Day 2
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for the 10am scheduled flight to Naboisho Airstrip. Met on arrival and transfer by 4×4 vehicle to Porini Mara Camp (game drive en route). Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the conservancy with a sundowner and return to camp (night drive en route) for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Awake to the natural sounds of the Mara’s birdlife. Leave camp soon after dawn to explore the Ol Kinyei Conservancy on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats.
You will have a bush breakfast out in the wilds and then return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon you will have a further game drive in Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies with a sundowner at a scenic spot followed by a night game drive with spotlights to search for nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopards which are resident in Ol Kinyei, before heading back to camp for dinner.
Day 4
After breakfast leave camp and drive through Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies, game-viewing as you go, and on to Olare Motorogi Conservancy arriving at Porini Lion Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the exclusive Olare Motorogi Conservancy, away from the minibuses and tourist vehicles seen in the reserve. Here there is an excellent chance of sighting lions, cheetahs and leopards all of which reside within the conservancy. Sundowner and night game drive. Overnight Porini Lion Camp.
Day 5
Enjoy a full day to explore the Conservancy at your leisure, or opt for an exhilarating game drive in the renowned Masai Mara Reserve. Should you choose the latter, a picnic lunch will be provided in the park before returning to camp in the late afternoon.
In the evening, unwind with a sundowner in the Conservancy, followed by a night game drive to discover the nocturnal wildlife. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Porini Lion Camp.
Note: From July 1 to September 30, a one-day fee to view the Migration in the Reserve is already included in your package.
Day 6
Enjoy game watching activities within Olare Motorogi Conservancy (morning, afternoon and evening drives), maybe take a guided walk or enjoy a sundowner from a scenic point. Dinner and overnight at Porini Lion Camp.
Day 7
*Optional Balloon Safari and Champagne Breakfast.
Final early morning game drive in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy and then transfer to the Olare Orok airstrip to fly back on the 11am flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, arriving at around 12.05h. Transfer to Nairobi International Airport or a hotel* (* hotel not included but can be added at a supplement).
Extra nights can be added at any camp, and we can arrange for you to head to the beautiful white-sand beaches of the Kenya Coast for a few days of relaxation after your safari adventure.

Hello, I am Sally Wanjau, and I have been travelling to Kenya on safari since the 1980’s which led to me living and working there for several years. Married to a Kenyan, it is a place that I now call home. I currently live in the UK with my husband.
