This comprehensive 7 day tour spends a night under canvas at the unique Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park before continuing to the Laikipia region and the world-renowned Maasai Mara. Timed for the Great Migration there is a good chance of seeing Kenya’s Big Five safari animals plus much more.
Nairobi National Park is home to rhino, lions and leopard amongst other species, Ol Pejeta Conservancy is famed for its rhino conservation project and chimpanzee sanctuary and in the Maasai Mara the big cats and other predators will be attracted to the area by the Wildebeest Migration.
Ol Kinyei Conservancy and its neighbouring Mara Ripoi Conservancy are huge areas of wilderness where day and night game drives and educational safari walks are all included. One day is also spent in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Flights are included between camps to avoid lengthy road transfers.

DAY BY DAY
Tour Experiences
Day 1
Pick-up will be arranged from Nairobi International Airport or your hotel, followed by a transfer to Nairobi National Park. You will spend one night at Nairobi Tented Camp, which includes full board accommodations with meals, game drives, a sundowner experience, park fees, and a selection of drinks, including beer, wine, gin & tonics, soft drinks, and bottled water. This exclusive camp is the only one situated within Nairobi National Park, offering a unique opportunity to experience a diverse range of wildlife in a distinctive setting.
Day 2
Begin your day with an early breakfast, followed by a transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for your flight to Nanyuki. Upon arrival at the airstrip in Nanyuki, you will be greeted and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, situated in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy at the base of Mount Kenya.
Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea at the camp before embarking on a game drive with your experienced driver-guide in the camp’s 4×4 safari vehicle to explore the diverse landscapes and wildlife of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Return to Porini Rhino Camp in the evening for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Enjoy a full day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, engaging in game drives and guided walking activities starting from the camp. Optional activities, available at an additional cost, include a visit to the Endangered Species Boma, home to the world’s last two remaining Northern White Rhinos, as well as Lion Tracking. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at Porini Rhino Camp.
Day 4
After breakfast, we will depart Ol Pejeta and transfer to the airstrip for a direct flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, Porini Giraffe Camp staff will greet you at the airstrip and transfer you to the camp for a three-night stay. Your stay includes full board accommodations with meals, beer, wine, soft drinks, mineral water, gin & tonics, day and night game drives, guided walks, sundowners, and park fees.
Following lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, which will include a stop at a scenic viewpoint for a sundowner. Return to Porini Giraffe Camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 5
Early morning game drive viewing the best of Ol Kinyei and Mara Ripoi Conservancies. Return to camp for breakfast. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Night drive en route back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Day 6
Enjoy a full day to explore the Conservancy at your leisure, or opt for a game drive in the renowned Masai Mara Reserve. If you choose the latter, a picnic lunch will be provided in the park before returning to camp in the late afternoon. Later in the evening, unwind with a sundowner in the Conservancy followed by a night game drive. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Porini Giraffe Camp.
NB: for 1 July to 30 September we have already included a one day fee to view the Migration in the Reserve.
Day 7
Early morning game drive in the conservancy returning for breakfast. Mid-morning transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson airport. Transfer to the international airport or a Nairobi hotel (hotel not included but can be added at a supplement).

Tour Experiences
Day 1
Pick up from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp. Check-in and relax in your tent before lunch and later taking an afternoon game drive, returning after sundowner for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Nanyuki Airstrip. Met on arrival and transfer by 4×4 vehicle to Porini Rhino Camp. Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the conservancy and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Enjoy game drives viewing the best of Ol Pejeta Conservancy (with a good chance of seeing wild dogs). A visit is also made to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Porini Rhino Camp.
Day 4
After breakfast check out and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Naboisho (Mara). Met on arrival and transfer by 4×4 vehicle to Porini Giraffe Camp (game drive en route). Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the Mara Ripoi conservancy with a sundowner and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Early morning game drive viewing the best of Ol Kinyei and Mara Ripoi Conservancies. Return to camp for breakfast. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Night drive en route back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Day 6
After breakfast at camp we head into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a day of game-viewing. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. Later, head out on an evening game drive within Ol Kinyei/Mara Ripoi Conservancies – stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night game drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Day 7
After breakfast check out and transfer to Naboisho Airstrip to board 11am scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival met and transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to check-in for your departure flight back home.
