Here you will escape from the crowds and experience the African wilderness without the presence of other tourist vehicles and with the personal attention of Jeff Wendorff, your photographer escort.

  • Macushla House – | Nairobi : Macushla House is a delightful, good-value guest house, in a very quiet, pleasant location, and has been popular with our travelers for many years. Macushla House (Gaelic for ‘my beloved’) is surrounded by indigenous bushland and offers privacy and space in an informal atmosphere. Public areas are home to an eclectic celebration of artifacts from countries as far flung as Yemen to Australia. Birdsong and wind chimes accompanied by flowing water from the swimming pool dragon are part of the daily concert.
  • Porini Amboseli Camp – | Selenkay Conservancy:This award-winning Kenya safari camp is set in the Amboseli eco-system within the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy– an important wildlife dispersal area for wildlife moving out of Amboseli National Park. The private conservation area ensures the best possible game viewing in proper off-road safari vehicles, off the beaten track and away from other tourist vans and minibuses.Porini Amboseli Safari Camp is small – with just 10 spacious guest tents – and retains all the charm and feel of the traditional mobile safari camps of days gone by. Selenkay shares the same eco-system as Amboseli and is established on 14,000 acres of land within the nearly 200,000 acres Eselenkei Group Ranch leased from the local Maasai by Gamewatchers Safaris with the aim of protecting the wildlife habitat and encouraging wildlife conservation
  • Porini Mara Camp | Ol Kinyei Conservancy – Maasai Mara: Porini Mara Camp is located in Ol Kinyei Conservancy – an 18700 acre IUCN listed wilderness set aside as a wildlife sanctuary. This setting provides the ultimate African safari holiday adventure in an unspoilt area, away from the crowds. (Approximately 1 hour flight from Nairobi.) The Eco-Tourism Kenya Gold Rated Porini Mara Camp is located in a unique and beautiful setting under yellow-barked Acacia trees along the banks of the Laetoli. The Mara camp contains just five spacious guest tents and one family unit. Porini Mara Camp has an exclusive yet friendly feel, with each tent containing comfortable furnishings and ensuite facilities.
  • Porini Lion Camp | Olare Motorogi Conservancy – Maasai Mara: Porini Lion Camp is located in unique and stunning setting on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. This large area borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals including the Mara’s renowned Big Cats. There is unsurpassed game-viewing within the conservancy due to its unspoiled natural state and the Porini Lion Camp – with just nine tents and one family unit – ensures guests have a genuine “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush. The Olare Motorogi Conservancy ensures a true wilderness experience with one of the lowest tourist densities in the Mara region and the highest lion densities.
