Domestic and Regional Flights in Kenya

Travel Periods:

High Season : 01 Jan  to 31 Mar , 01 Jun to 31 Oct  & 21 to 31 Dec

Low Season : 01 Apr to 31 May  & 01 Nov to 20 Dec 

Important Note:

• M class routes  are based on promotional fares which are for a limited number of seats, valid from 1 Jan – 20 Dec, subject to availability. Where these promotional fares are unavailable, clients will be booked into the next available class and advised of the fare supplement.
• Supplement for Air Kenya to Kilimanjaro based on Y class.

NOTES & CONDITIONS:

1.  All fares are in US$ and inclusive of airport taxes, valid as shown above.
2. Child fare (2 – 11 years) is 75% of the applicable fares and below 2 years free provided they don’t use a seat.
3. Reservations cancelled within 7 days of travel will be charged as ‘no shows’ in full. For bookings over Christmas, New Year and Easter, cancellations within 14 days will be charged in full. Cancellation policy for group bookings of eight or more pax is applicable and available on request. Any refunds will incur an administration fee of US$ 30.
4. No show tickets are non refundable and non transferable to other passengers. Any amendments made within 96 hours of travel will be charged a US$ 50 re-booking fee.
5. M class are special fares valid till to 20th Dec but EXCLUDING Easter (April 02nd to 05th 2021). For Easter and Festive season (Dec 21st to 31st) apply Y class fares above. 
6. The services to Tsavo West, Migori, Naivasha, all Loisaba and Lewa Downs related services are subject to a minimum of 2 passengers being booked in high season and minimum 4 pax in the low season.
7. Meru-Mara is via Nairobi, can however route be depending on aircraft routing***.
8. Lamu-Malindi is for last minute sales only**.
9. The Amboseli and Tsavo West services will be combined in the low seasons & timings should be re-confirmed with our Operations.
10. The Mara to Migori service operates in the high seasons subject to minimum 2 pax, from 16 Dec to 31 Mar & from 01 Jul to 31 Oct. In low season it could operate on request basis, subject to minimum 4 pax.
11. During the low seasons, the Laikipia to Mara services will not operate and passengers will be routed via Wilson.
12. The Mara to Laikipia service operates only in the high season subject to minimum 2 pax per destination. It will not operate during the low seasons.
13. Safarilink & AirKenya reserve the right to implement a fuel surcharge if the fuel costs vary by more than 10% from a base rate of US$ 1.05 per litre of Jet A1 fuel.

MIGORI AIRSTRIP CLOSURE EFFECTIVE 01ST JULY 2020 FOR 15 MONTHS

Migori Airstrip has been instrumental in one of our major services in the East Africa tourist circuit by connecting the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and The Serengeti National Park ecosystem In Tanzania. The closure of the Airstrip will enable the upgrade of its runway, construction of an apron, perimeter fence, washing closet, mini lounge and Patrol road around the facility which is precisely located some eight kilometres from Migori town and 22 kilometres from the Kenya Tanzania border. The project is estimated to complete in a span of 12 Months and pave way for 3 months inspection services.

Safaris combining the two destinations will need to route via Wilson and Kilimanjaro for onward connection to the various Serengeti airstrips.

NOTES & CONDITIONS

1. All fares are in US$ including airport departure taxes per person.

2. Check-in is 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

3. Amboseli & Tsavo fares are inclusive of aircraft landing fees.

4. Minimum number required for pickup/drop off at Tsavo is 4 pax while Amboseli is 2 pax.

5. Children 2 – 11 years are charged 75% of adult rate (below 2 years is free).

6. Baggage restriction is 15 kilograms per person including hand luggage.

7. Fares are subject to statutory increases without notice.

8. All Mombasa Air flights stop-over Ukunda EXCEPT on Tsavo to/from Mara & Amboseli to/from Mara flight routes.

9. All schedule flights above depart from Moi International Airport in Mombasa.
