Located within the Selenkay Conservancy – a 12500 acre private wilderness near Amboseli National Park – this low-price safari option still includes high-quality wildlife viewing in exclusive game-filled areas using proper 4×4 safari vehicles (not minibuses). All the big cats have been seen in the Conservancy as well as elephants and a wide range of species including large numbers of giraffes, zebra, and antelopes.

Nestled in amongst the Acacia groves, this 96 room lodge, designed on a traditional Maasai style homestead, offers unprecedented views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the legendary big game that roams the Amboseli National Park.

Set in 200 acres of private land, and with a rustic charm all of its own, Amboseli Sopa Lodge nestles in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at almost six thousand metres, is Africa’s highest and most famous snowcapped mountain. All forms of wildlife still abound in this wilderness which continues all the way to the Amboseli National Park.
