Porini Safari (Mara & Lion Camp)

Porini Safari (Mara & Lion Camp)

January 2022 | Julian Mutimer

Stayed four nights at Porini Mara Camp then four nights at Porini Lion Camp. In 14 years of safaris all over Kenya we have never quite experienced anything quite this special. Below is a summary of the best parts:
We witnessed two cheetah kills, saw a baboon kill a baby impala, saw two hyenas catch and kill a wildebeest, also witnessed two failed cheetah hunts and two failed lion hunts. In addition to all this going on we saw five leopards and a serval cat and too many birds and other game to list.
Food fantastic, Maasai guides fantastic.
Thanks and well done Gamewatchers.
