Porini Lion Camp (Olare Motorogi Conservancy) – 1st to 4th Sept 2017

Sept 2017 | Steve Le Feuvre

I have just returned from my third visit to Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy.
All the staff were superb, and nothing was too much trouble. How they come up with those fantastic meals in the middle of the bush, I will never know. Suffice to say, you eat “like a king”!!
Game viewing was of the very highest order – four prides of lion, three majestic cheetah, and two wonderfully elusive leopard. Lots of elephant, masses of giraffe, loads of wildebeast, topi, eland, buffalo, hippo, impala, Grants gazelle, Thompsons gazelle, dik dik, warthog, hyena, jackals, bat-eared fox, and much more ….. and bird life in abundance.
And then, of course, sunsets to “die for”!!
I recommend Porini camps (Gamewatchers) to anyone who wants the ultimate safari experience.
