Kaskaz Mara Camp by the Nasikia group, is a short drive from Kogatende Airstrip and the exciting Mara River viewing area. The ten tented suites are superbly located to provide a indulgent base for optimal game viewing all through out the year.
The camp is available for drive in or game package clients, all while taking special care to illustrate the unique environment they are welcomed to. As well as game-viewing from a vehicle, guests can explore the intriguing wilderness on foot with the in-house walking guide.
Accommodation
Kaskaz Camp has ten spacious tented suites. Each offers en suite facilities (wc and shower) and Double or Twin beds and a seating area.
The camp offers an array of meal options, from early morning bush breakfasts to leisurely in-camp lunches in the shade to four course dinners. Guests enjoy relaxing with a drink by the camp fire, sharing stories of the day’s sights and events.
Activities
Wildlife viewing and bird watching game drives within the central Serengeti are offered twice per day. Experienced guides encourage guests to see and experience the Serengeti through their eyes, sharing a world of small and large wonders.
Guests take guided walking safaris to explore the intriguing wilderness on foot with the in-house walking guide. Ideally these are at dawn and dusk, before and after the heat and stillness which prevails around the middle of the day when the animals (and most people) take a rest. Follow the tracks, smell the herds on the breeze and hear the crunch of fauna underfoot. The bush guides have a wealth of insightful experience and they will fascinate you with bush-wise facts, wildlife know-how, local customs and incredible stories of life in the wilderness.
Guests can also take Hot Air Balloon excursions (at an additional cost, pre-booking required).
