Kitela Lodge is a small, exclusive lodge situated on top of a valley, overlooking a coffee plantation as well as the Eastern wall of the Ngorongoro crater and a beautiful waterfall. The glorious views make Kitela an ideal, away-from-the-crowds base from which to explore the Ngorongoro region. The lodge combines well with other accommodation in the nearby Serengeti as well as Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks.
The lodge consist of 20 spacious cottages with the style of an old-colonial farm, offering guests a relaxing, quiet atmosphere surrounded by beautiful gardens. All cottages are en suite, with shower and bath. Fans cool the air, mosquito nets cover the beds and cozy fireplaces add a wonderful atmospheric touch. All rooms have views of the farm plantation and dramatic back drop of the Ngorongoro Crater forests.
