The modern, innovative and stylish Lodge is a secret river hideaway on the shores of the mighty Zambezi River.  Accessed by boat, guests depart vehicles and cruise down river, where the birds are often joined by the occasional hippo or crocodile, baking in the shallow waters along the banks.

Zambezi Mubala Lodge is home to over 450 species of birds and hosts the springtime visit of one of the largest colonies of carmine bee-eaters in Africa which nest along the banks of the Zambezi between the months of August and December, filling the air with sound, activity and colour.

Location

Zambezi Mubala Lodge is  accessible by boat, vehicles are left at the nearby Zambezi Mubala Camp and guests are transferred by boat to the lodge.  The lodge is situated approximately 40km East of Katima Mulilo off the B8, North East of Namibia.

Transfers to/from Katima Airport Mpacha can be arranged.
