Namibia Parks and Reserves

Located in North Eastern Namibia, this is the greenest region of Namibia with prolific bird life and wildlife and is a nature lovers paradise.

Okonjima Nature Reserve, 200 square kilometres of African wilderness is home to the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation committed to long-term conservation of Namibia’s large carnivores and other endangered species.  The Reserve’s activities include Game drives and guided bush walks, which offer visitors an intimate, up-close perspective of Namibia’s wildlife and, especially, its most protected species.

Located in North West of Namibia, and is one of the largest National Parks in Africa, Etosha offers an incredible wildlife experience as well as a large array of birdlife.

This rugged region is situated on the edge of the Namib, in the rocky Aus Mountains and is well known for viewing the feral horses of the Namib Desert, which run wild and free on the sparsely vegetated plains.

Located in the North East of Namibia, the Damaraland region is characterised by its rocky and rugged landscapes.  This is a breath-taking area with plenty to see and do, a visit to this area can include guided walks, photographic opportunities, wildlife sightings, rock art and a petrified forest.

Experience this unique area, a world heritage site and one of the oldest and largest deserts on earth.  Spanning a vast area which includes the Namib Desert, the Naukluft Mountains, Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei and Sesriem and Sandwich Harbour.

The Kalahari region, located in the East of Namibia is the home to the San/Bushmen who have lived in this area for the last 20,000 years. The region is well known for it’s red sands which during the summer months, after some rain, turn into fields of green.
