Porini Safari Camps Prices & Special Offers

Use the all-inclusive accommodation rates below to calculate the price for your safari. 

Prices are in USD ($) Per Person and are inclusive of: Airstrip transfers, Conservancy Fees, All Meals, Free drinks package (wine, beer, gin & tonics, soft drinks, mineral water), Sundowners, Shared Game Drives in open-sided 4×4, Night Drives, Optional Nature Walk, Optional Bush Breakfast, all local taxes.

If clients fly to/from Amboseli Airstrip instead of using the charter flight to Selenkay airstrip then there is a supplement of US$ 50 per person one way for pick up or drop off plus the park entry fee of $60pp. Charter flight: Each year between 1 July to 31 October & between 20 December to 31 March we offer daily charter flights (to operate with a minimum of 2 passengers) between Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and Selenkay Airstrip which is very close to Porini Amboseli Camp. The supplement will be the same as if using the scheduled flight as provided above. The charter flight departs Wilson Airport at 07.30h and arrives at Selenkay at 08h10. (Complimentary transfer by camp’s vehicle from Selenkay airstrip to Porini Amboseli Camp). For the return journey, the charter departs Selenkay at 08.30h and arrives back at Wilson at 09.10h.

Road transfers to Porini Amboseli from Nairobi or vice-versa are at a cost of US$ 230 per vehicle one-way (Minivan) and U$ 440 per vehicle one-way (4×4)

Game drives, bush breakfasts, nature walks and night drives are in the exclusive Conservancies where the camps are located.

For all stays of 2 or 3 nights, one full day with a picnic lunch is included in the Amboseli National Park.

For all stays of 3 nights, one full day with a picnic lunch is included in the Mara National Reserve.

At Porini Rhino an optional visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary is offered.

Child Policy (for children aged 8 to 16 years):

• 1 child pays 60% of per person sharing rates when sharing with 2 adults in 1 tent & the 2 adults pay per person sharing rates each
• 1 child pays 60% of per person sharing rates when sharing with 1 adult BUT the 1 adult pays full single tent rate
• 2 or 3 children in own tent each pay 75% of per person sharing rates
• The camp is not suitable for children under 8 years of age

Supplements:

Christmas & New Year supplement 24/25/26/31 Dec & 01 Jan of $40 per person per night

Exclusive use of vehicle for game drives at $375 per vehicle per day.

Late departure from Porini camps after 10.00 a.m. is US$ 150 per person – minimum 2 people (includes lunch, soft drinks and extra game drive / activities before departure in the late afternoon with transfer to airstrip. Guests are required to check out of their tent by 10.00).

Reduced Rates for Porini Safaris of 6 Nights or More

We are offering very special discounted rates when combining two or more Porini Safari Camps, bringing you the best possible value for money on an African safari adventure.

The discounted rates can be applied when staying a total of 6 nights or more, booked as a minimum of 3 nights at each of two of the following camps: Porini Amboseli Camp, Porini Rhino Camp, Rhino River Camp, Porini Mara Camp or Porini Cheetah Camp. (NB offer not valid for combining Porini Mara Camp with Porini Cheetah Camp).

Free Airport Arrival Transfers in Nairobi

For all guests booked for 6 or more nights at Porini Camps we provide a free airport transfer on arrival in Nairobi to any hotel in Nairobi booked by us.

Free Night in Nairobi and Free Airport Transfer

For all guests booking 8 nights or more staying at the Porini Camps  we provide a FREE NIGHT including breakfast in Nairobi plus a free arrival transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

For your free night in Nairobi you can choose between a night at the Eka Hotel (on Bed & Breakfast basis), or stay at Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park on Bed & Breakfast basis (excluding $95 park entry fee). For stays at Nairobi Tented Camp our special discounted Half Board safari package at $120 can be added as a pre-booked option to include a free game drive and dinner and free drinks.

Long Stay – Free Night Offer at the New Porini Safari Cottages

Stay a minimum of 3 nights at any other Porini Camp plus 3 nights (or more) at the Porini Safari Cottages at and get the 4th night for FREE at the Porini Safari Cottages. Applies for travel up to and including 31 September 2024.

50% off for Bride when staying 4 or more nights at any Porini Safari Camp and valid all year except in August & September when the bride gets 25% off when staying for 4 or more nights at any Porini Safari Camp.

 Porini Camps: No Single Supplement for Solo Travelers

Solo travelers to any of our Porini Camps get to stay at no extra cost for being in a single tent; This offer is valid for travel from November 2023 until May 31st, 2024, and from November 2024 to December 15th 2024 .
