9 Day Wilderness to Coast Safari

Itinerary

Day 1

Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to the Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel for 1 night (Bed & Breakfast basis).

Day 2

After breakfast transfer to Nairobi Wilson Airport for the 10am flight to the Masai Mara. Met on arrival by your Driver & Guide (in a 4x4 safari vehicle) who will transfer you to Ol Kinyei Conservancy and Porini Mara Camp arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will go on a game drive to explore Ol Kinyei Conservancy which has a wide variety of the wildlife species for which the Mara is famous, including elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, eland, topi, hartebeest, gazelle, waterbuck, Cape buffalo and warthog. Stop for sundowners at a scenic view point. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Early morning wake-up call by the camp staff for breakfast and then drive into the Mara Reserve for a full day of game-viewing, taking a picnic lunch. Return to camp later in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

A full day to have game drives in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy to further explore the wilderness with your expert guide and to seek out the wildlife. Sundowner, night drive and final dinner at Porini Mara Camp.

Day 5

Morning game drive in Ol Kinyei Conservancy before breakfast. Afternoon transfer to the airstrip for the flight to Ukunda / Diani. Met on arrival and transferred the short distance to Pinewood Village Beach Resort & Spa for 4 nights. 

Days 6 to 8

At leisure on the beach

Day 9

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer from hotel to Ukunda / Diani airstrip for the flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Met and transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to check-in for your onward flight.

Prices Include: all transfers, internal flights and accommodation as stated. Porini Camps include all park fees and conservancy fees, shared game drives in 4x4 vehicles, night game drives, bush walks, sundowners, full board, mineral water, house wines, beer and soft drinks. Pinewood Village Beach Resort based on a Deluxe Room on a Half Board basis.
