Combine Nairobi with the Maasai Mara in this wonderful 6 day safari adventure. Visit Nairobi’s renowned Elephant Orphanage to view the young elephants and rhino, stay under canvas within the unique Nairobi National Park – home to rhino, lions and leopard amongst others - then head to the Maasai Mara during the Great Migration period with a good chance of seeing Kenya’s famous wildlife including elephants, buffalo and the big cats.

 

 

Premium day and night game drives and educational safari walks are taken in the exclusive pristine wilderness of Ol Kinyei Conservancy and the neighbouring Naboisho Conservancy. One day is also spent in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Includes flights to and from Mara.

 Itinerary

Rhino & Migration Safari

5 nights / 6 days

Day 1

Pick up from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp. Check-in and relax in your tent before lunch and later taking an afternoon game drive, returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast take a morning visit to the renowned Elephant Orphanage and then after lunch take an afternoon 4x4 game drive in Nairobi National Park, located next to Nairobi city. Return for dinner and overnight at Nairobi Tented Camp.

Day 3

Check out after breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for the 10am scheduled flight to Naboisho Airstrip. Met on arrival and transfer by 4x4 vehicle to Porini Bush Camp (game drive en route). Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the conservancy with a sundowner and return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Early morning game drive viewing the best of Ol Kinyei and Naboisho Conservancies. Return to camp for breakfast. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Night drive en route back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Bush Camp.

Day 5

After breakfast at camp we head into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a day of game-viewing. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. Later, head out on an evening game drive within Ol Kinyei Conservancy - stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night game drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Bush Camp.

Day 6

After breakfast check out and transfer to Naboisho Airstrip to board 11am scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival met and transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to check-in for your departure flight back home.
