Porini "In the Wilds" Safari

7 Day Nairobi & Maasai Mara Fly-In Safari from just $2985 / £2360 Per Person!

Join us for an exhilarating wildlife adventure with this 7 day Kenya safari combining Nairobi National Park with the world-renowned Maasai Mara.

In Summary:

  • 1 night Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park
  • 2 nights Porini Mara Camp, Ol Kinyei Conservancy with flight from Nairobi
  • 3 nights Porini Lion Camp, Olare Motorogi and flight back to Nairobi
  • Includes meals, selected drinks, day & night game drives, guided walks with Maasai warriors, bush picnics and sundowners

Arrive into Nairobi and just 30 minutes after leaving the airport you can be starting your safari experience, settling into camp life in a secluded and peaceful setting deep within Nairobi National Park.

This unique location is home to a wealth of wildlife including rhino, lions, leopards and much more.

After a night comfortably under canvas, fly to the Maasai Mara where you will spend the next five days (staying at two Porini tented camps), observing more of Kenya’s iconic animals including elephants, buffalo and the big cats in exclusive pristine wilderness.

Porini Mara Camp has six guest tents sited in the exclusive 18,700 acre wildlife conservancy of Ol Kinyei. Porini Lion Camp is located inside the exclusive 33,000 acre Olare Motorogi Conservancy.

From each camp, guests take day and night game drives within the conservancies which are teeming with wildlife. Drives are by custom-built, open-sided 4x4 safari vehicles (not tourist vans) with a driver-guide and a spotter.

Porini guests also enjoy bush picnics and romantic sundowners and can join Maasai warriors for guided walks to learn more about Kenya's fascinating flora and fauna.

The conservancies are formed of pristine wilderness with open savannah plains, riverine forest, springs, streams and rivers, rolling hills and spectacular views.

This tour is particularly good for those wishing to see the Big Cats - research shows that the Mara Conservancies have Africa's highest density of free-roaming wild lions, and the area also has good numbers of cheetahs and leopards.

Porini Safari Camps are Fully Inclusive of:

  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner and selected drinks (beer, house wine, gin & tonics, mineral water, sodas)
  • Bush Breakfasts
  • Game drives in custom-built 4×4 open-sided safari vehicles
  • Morning, evening and night shared game drives (private vehicles available at a supplement)
  • Expert Maasai driver-guides and spotters
  • Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve with picnic lunch
  • Escorted walk with Maasai guides
  • Sundowner drinks to watch the sunset from scenic viewing points

At all camps the guest tents are spacious and each has solar electric lights and an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower. The camp Chefs prepare good quality meals - hot dishes, fresh salads and home baked bread.

Note: This tour includes scheduled flights between Nairobi and the Mara (and back) to avoid wasting hours travelling by road and to get you straight to the wildlife. Departures are flexible (any day of the week) but exclude the rainy season of 16 Apr to 31 May.
