This Safari combines two of Kenya's finest wildlife areas:
- Amboseli, the best place in Kenya to
see elephants at close range and wonderful views of Kilimanjaro.
- Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest rhino
conservancy in East Africa in a vast tract of wilderness within
the Laikipia area, overlooking snow-capped Mount Kenya. Elephant,
rhino, lion and leopard all present.
Accommodation is first at Amboseli Porini Camp in the Selenkay
Conservancy, then Porini Rhino Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The Safari Camps are small and exclusive and run on the same environmentally
sound principles. All camps are specially designed to have minimum
impact with no permanent structures.

2 Nights Amboseli Porini Camp - 2 Nights Ol Pejeta Rhino

Itinerary:
|
|
Day 1
|
09.00 pickup from hotel and transfer by safari minibus to
Amboseli Porini Camp (a 4 hour journey of 102 miles), arriving
at Porini Camp before lunch. Following afternoon tea, you
will be escorted on a walk by Maasai warriors to a village
to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of
life. Then take a game drive in the conservancy followed by
a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro. Night
game drive and return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
|
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast,
we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli
National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. Following
a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later
in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive
in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic
viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal
animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared
foxes, African wild cats, and other species. Return to camp
for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
|
Early breakfast and then drive through Amboseli park to the
airstrip for the 0945 Safarilink flight to Wilson, connecting
onto the 1020 flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 1240. You will
be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp,
located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of
Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head
off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s
4x4 safari vehicle. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner
and overnight.

Day 4
|
Full day in Ol Pejeta with game drives and walking
activities from camp. Overnight Porini Rhino Camp.

Day 5
|
Depart Porini Rhino Camp and fly from Nanyuki back to Nairobi’s
Wilson Airport

If sharing with 1 adult the adult pays single supp and child
pays 50%; 2 children in own tent 75% of adult rate each; 4th
child in tent is strongly discouraged due to limited space

for children under 8yrs.
