Lake
Nakuru is home to a million flamingoes and a wide variety of other birdlife as
well as many animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, impala,
warthog, white rhino and the endangered black rhino.
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
is set high above the Lake with beautiful views over the National Park and is
surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens.

| Day 1 |
Depart from Nairobi at 2 pm and drive by minibus to Lake Nakuru National Park,
arriving in the late afternoon to stay 2 nights at Lion Hill Lodge with views
across the lake. You will take an evening game drive to see the huge numbers of
flamingo which are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the birdlife
for which Nakuru is so well known there are many different wildlife species in
the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild's
giraffe, zebra, impala and waterbuck.

Day
2
|
An early morning game
drive before breakfast to try to find leopard which are frequently sighted in
Lake Nakuru Park and return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will
take a further drive to seek out the 2 species of rhino found in the park, returning
before lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, relaxing by the lodge swimming pool
before an evening game drive in the park.
