A 6 nights / 7 days high quality road safari departing every Sunday, with a minimum of two people, visiting Selenkay Conservancy, Amboseli National Park, Lake Elementeita, Lake Nakuru, Ol Kinyei Conservancy and the Masai Mara.
This seven day safari combines:

2 nights at Amboseli Porini Camp with walks and night game drive, game drive in the Amboseli National Park for viewing elephants close up.In the Selenkay Conservancy, an exclusive wilderness area with no other tourist vehicles, a walk with Maasai warriors to visit an authentic village, and a night game drive.

2 nights at Sunbird Lodge with walks along Lake Elementaita and a full day in Nakuru to see the flamingos and where there is also an excellent chance of seeing rhino and leopard.

2 nights at Mara Porini Camp visiting Ol Kinyei Conservancy: one of the most scenic parts of the Mara eco-system with resident big cats. With bush walks, a night drive and game drive in the Maasai Mara, famous for lions, cheetahs and leopards.

All game drives are in 4x4 safari vehicles (not vans), and with experienced driver-guides.

At Porini Camps all meals and drinks included as well as sundowners, night game drives and escorted walks.

Itinerary

6 nights / 7 days, Daily Departures

Day 1

Morning transfer by minibus from Nairobi to Selenkay Conservancy (102 miles, 4 hrs) to arrive for lunch. Afternoon walk with Maasai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Evening drive in 4x4 safari vehicle in the Selenkay Conservancy with sundowners at a scenic spot. Night game drive en-route back to Porini Amboseli Camp.

Day 2

After an early breakfast drive into Amboseli National Park, 10 miles from the Selenkay boundary for a full morning game drive with picnic lunch. Return to camp and then have an evening drive, sundowners and night game drive. Overnight Porini Amboseli Camp.

Day 3

After breakfast, transfer to Amboseli Airstrip for schedule flight departing at 09h05 to arrive Wilson Airport at 09h50, met by a qualified driver guide and board the minibus safari vehicle to continue the safari by road through the Great Rift Valley to Sunbird Lodge on the shores of Lake Elementaita. Afternoon walk along the lake shore and overnight at Sunbird Lodge.

Day 4

Spend a full day in Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, returning later in the evening for dinner and overnight at Sunbird Lodge.

Day 5

After breakfast, check out and relax around the lodge then early lunch at 12h00 and proceed around 13h30 to Loldia Airstrip in Naivasha for schedule flight departing at 15h20 to arrive Siana Airstrip at 16h00. Met on arrival and transferred in a 4x4 safari vehicle, arriving at Porini Mara Camp. Afternoon game drive in the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Sundowner, night game drive and overnight at Porini Mara Camp.

Day 6

*Optional Balloon Safari and Champange Breakfast.

Drive from Porini Mara Camp to the Sekenani Gate to spend a full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve with picnic lunch, returning to the camp in the evening. Overnight Porini Mara Camp.

Day 7

Early morning game drive or escorted walk in Ol Kinyei Conservancy followed by breakfast and transfer to Siana Airstrip for schedule flight departing at 11h00 to arrive Wilson Airport at approximately 12h15.

Prices include: Pick up in Nairobi then road transfer to Amboseli, 2 nights in Porini Amboseli Camp with daily Selenkay Conservancy fees and one day Amboseli National Park entrance fee, Maasai village visit then afterwards check out and fly to Wilson Airport where you will be met by a driver guide in a 06 seater minivan safari vehicle and drive to Lake Elementaita to arrive for lunch at Sunbird Lodge, later dinner and overnight on full board basis. Next day drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for full day game drive with lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, afterwards drive back to Sunbird Lodge for dinner and overnight. Transfer to Loldia Airstrip in Naivasha for schedule flight to Siana Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Mara Camp for 2 nights with daily Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancy fees and one day Masai Mara Game Reserve entrance fee, Porini camps are based on full board basis including soft drinks, beer, house wine, gin & tonic, mineral water, return airstrip transfers, day & night shared game drives in open sided 4x4 safari vehicle with qualified guide, sundowners, walks with Maasai warriors, then last day fly back to Wilson Airport.

Child rates applicable for 08 – 11 year olds:

1 child sharing with 2 adults, child pays child package price above while the 2 adults pay per adult sharing rate.

1 child sharing with 1 adult, child pays child package price above while the 1 adult pays single adult rate.

2 or 3 children sharing in own tent, each child pays 75% of per adult rate. Child under 8 years not recommended.

Exclusive vehicle use at Porini Camps:

Sole use of the open sided 4x4 safari vehicle during game drive US$ 375 per vehicle per day.

Easter supplement at Sunbird Lodge:

From 29 March to 01 April 2013 inclusive is US$ 40 per person per night.

Christmas & new year supplement at Porini Camps:

On 24, 25, 26, 31 Dec 2012 & 01 Jan 2013 is US$ 40 per person per night.

Late afternoon departure at Porini Camps:

Late departure after 12h00 US$ 125 per person minimum 2 pax (includes lunch, soft drinks and activities before departure in the late afternoon).

Flight supplements:

Schedule flight: For flying from Nairobi to Amboseli US$ 50 per adult one way & US$ 35 per child (02 – 12 years) one way.

Charter flight: From 20th December 2012 to 31st March 2013 & from 01st July 2013 to 31st October 2013 we will offer daily charter flights with minimum 2 pax between Nairobi, Wilson Airport and Amboseli, Selenkay Airstrip which is very close to Porini Amboseli Camp & Selenkay Adventure Camp. The supplement will be the same as if using schedule flight as provided above. The charter flight is only 35 minutes departing Nairobi, Wilson Airport at 08h00 and arriving Amboseli, Selenkay Airstrip at 08h35. (Camp’s vehicle transfer to Porini Amboseli Camp or Selenkay Adventure Camp for free).
 
Mombasa: For flying from Masai Mara to Diani/Ukunda/Moi Airport instead of flying to Nairobi US$ 380 per adult & US$ 200 per child 10 – 11 years (one way flight). Includes late departure charge & mandatory $80 park fee
 

Extra night rate:

For every 2 or 3 night stay one visit into Masai Mara National Reserve is included. Any extra visit into the reserve must pay US$ 80 per person per day on top of above rates.
