Location:

Afrochic, with it's beautiful furnished landscaped garden and it's free form crystal clear swimming pool with Jacuzzi, is situated right on the edge of the white Diani beach. The Diani beach, 27 km. On the south of Mombasa Island is regarded as the best stretch of beach on the Kenya coast.

From the international Moi airport of Mombasa, which is served by several flights AFROCHIC can be reached with an interesting drive of approximately one hour, including the few minutes ferry crossing of the channel to the harbour.

AFROCHIC is only five minutes away from Ukunda airstrip, for private charters and daily flights to the Masai Mara.

Accommodation:

Afrochic Boutique Retreat accommodation consists of 10 individually designed bedrooms including a large Executive Suite. All rooms, with large double beds, have a balcony and magnificent view to the Indian Ocean except the "Queen of Sheba Room" that overlooks the lush garden and the fish pond. All en-suite bathrooms have a bidet and a large shower with two rooms having also a bath tub.

Each room is equipped with satellite television, DVD player, safe, mini-bar and tea and coffee facilities. Some rooms contain a comfortable sofa-bed that can accommodate a third person.The "Zanzibar Junior Suite" has a comfortable sofa bed to accommodate third person and an additional large single bed, few steps up, on the internal wooden gallery. The En-Suite bathroom has a Whirlpool bath tub facing the ocean, large shower and bidet.

The "Punda Milia" Executive Suite has a comfortable sofa bed to accommodate third person and an adjoining single bedroom. The En-Suite bathroom has Whirlpool bath tub, large shower, double wash basin and bidet.

Afrochic operates on a Full Board "Free style" system. There are no dining rules; the rules are set by the guest as he would do in his own villa.Guests may select their favourite dishes from a wide selection of "A la Carte" Gourmet Menus featuring Italian, Mediterranean, Indian, Swahili and other Ethnic Specialities with accent on fish and seafood brought daily from the ocean and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Our experienced Chefs can suggest and create personalized Menus to Guests preferences.

Guests may choose to dine whenever and wherever they wish: in the dining room, on the veranda, in the garden, on the gazebo, on the beach or in the privacy of their own bedroom balcony.

Afrochic provides, at additional cost, a well stocked bar and a rich selection of quality wines. Coffee, tea, fresh fruits and light refreshments are served throughout the day on complimentary basis.

A dedicated team of experienced Chefs, professional waiters and Housekeepers, complemented by all other staff are available, at all times, to provide attentive, personalized, friendly, discrete service.

Communications:

Guest are provided with a mobile phone programmed for a fast connection with all AFROCHIC services and can also be used for outside calls. The entire premises are set with free of charge 24 ours wireless Internet connection.
