The Coco De Mer Hotel

The Coco De Mer Hotel is situated on the South-west coast of Praslin - the second largest island of the Seychelles. The island is home to the unique Coco de Mer palm, from which the hotel takes its name. The hotel offers modern facilities in a tropical setting and has a laid back, friendly atmosphere. It is located on the beach and set amongst a tranquil landscape of lush vegetation, banana palms, mango trees, and bright island flora.

The Hotel features 40 spacious rooms which have been built in a chalet style and are set amongst the hotel's beautiful tropical gardens. All rooms have a four poster bed and a sitting area with one or two sofa beds. Interconnecting rooms are also available.

Dining

The Hotel is well known for its excellent cuisine, which offers quality and quantity, presentation and variety, served with a smile. It has got two restaurants:

The Hibiscus Restaurant serves a combination of international and creole cuisine; as well as BBQs, buffets and a Table d'hôte menu.

Mango Restaurant

Light meal and cool drinks are served at the pool side a la carte Mango Restaurant.

Facilities

The Coco De Mer hotel boasts an extensive range of sport and leisure facilities which include a gymnasium, tennis, squash, a swimming pool with sun terrace, mini-golf and cycling. Water sports activities include kayaking, snorkeling and windsurfing. Other facilities at the hotel include giant chess, a gift shop, conference facilities, and live evening entertainment. Local excursions, diving and deep sea fishing trips can also be arranged at the hotel.
