Gamewatchers Safaris wins Tour Operator of the Year 2011

Gamewatchers Safaris was awarded 'Tour Operator of the Year' 2011 by the Kenya Tourism Federation in partnership with the Kenya Tourist Board.  This award, in conjunction with many other accolades which Gamewatchers have received over the years, defines Gamewatchers Safaris as the leading tour operator in Kenya.

The first inaugural Kenya Tourism Awards Gala Dinner was held in Nairobi on the 23rd June.  The guests of honour were the UN World Tourism Organisation Secretary General Dr. Taleb Rifai and Kenya's Minister for Tourism Hon. Najib Balala.

The Kenya Tourism Awards have been created to award achievements in the sector and celebrate the strides made in difficult circumstances.

Winner of 'Tour Operator of the Year' Award was Gamewatchers Safaris.  Managing Director Jake Grieves-Cook received the award from Dr. Taleb Rifai.
